What Should be in the Maternity Kit?

The birth of a child is one of the most special moments in parents’ lives. To be well prepared for labor and the first days after the birth, it is essential to have a well-stocked maternity case.   • Jacket or vest: For the trip home, especially in the colder months.

  • Baby blankets: To keep your baby warm in the hospital and on the way home.
  • Hydrophilic cloths: These are multifunctional and always come in handy.

Safety:

  • Car seat: Make sure you have an approved car seat for the trip home. Practice in advance how to install it.

For the Partner

  • Clothing and toiletries: The partner will also need some clean clothes and personal care products, especially if labor is prolonged.
  • Camera or phone with camera: To capture your baby’s first moments.
  • Books or magazines: Something to pass the time during long waits.
